History in Action event for Dundee
Tourism Dundee is hosting a ‘History in Action’ programme
from October 20 to 23 at Talana Museum in Dundee, KwaZulu-
Natal, reports Natalia Thomson of Travel News Now.
The event kicks off with an evening ghost walk followed by
star gazing on Talana Hill on October 20.
On Friday, October 21, a game and bird viewing tour will be
held, as well as battlefield tours to Isandlwana and Rorkes
Drift.
A number of events are being held on October 22 at Talana
Museum, including a parade, battle talks, redcoat display,
a demonstration of Zulu military tactics, and Zulu
stickfighting, among other activities. The Sunday, October
23, will be filled with tours to Blood River, Ncome,
Isandlwana, and Rorkes Drift.
