Ezemvelo KZN tariffs and conservation levy - No Increase

Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife has announced that there will be no travel trade rate and conservation levy increase for 2005/2006, reports Natalia Thomson of Travel News Now.

Children 12 years and under are entitled to a 50% reduction on accommodation and packages, and not 16 years as previously stated in trade tariff lists. All tour operator/travel agency bookings automatically attract a blanket levy of R70 per adult and R35 per child.

SA and Sadc residents who have booked through tour operators or travel agents will, however, be able to apply for a discount on these rates and upon proof of residency will pay R35 per adult and R15 per child under 12 years. Tour operators or travel agents whose clients are staying overnight will have to pay their fees upfront at reservations, not on arrival at the Hluhluwe Hilltop or Imfolozi Mpila receptions.
